Home Sweet Suncruiser

By Rebekah Feigh

The Feigh family is heading to Tucson, Arizona, for our next assignment, and we’ll be travelling in our new (to us) Winnebago Itasca Suncruiser motorhome! That’s right – we bought an RV.

2002 Winnebago Itasca Suncruiser 32V

It’s an older model in great shape, and the previous owners made a few upgrades. We’ll probably also make some additional upgrades because I can only handle so much wood grain in such a small space! Our Suncruiser has two large slide-outs and a spacious floor plan. There’s plenty of space for the dogs and for Charleigh. The makeup table/desk in the bedroom is going to be Charleigh’s diaper changing station, and I plan to install some shelves in the cubby where a TV used to be above this spot to store her bumGenius diapers. One of the great things about moving into an RV instead of apartment hopping every 3 months is we only have to babyproof once!

Adam’s coach, Jesse Vondracek, has graciously offered to allow us to park and install hookups at his house, which is super close to the hospital Adam will be working at in Tucson. Charleigh will get to spend tons of time playing with Jesse and Amy’s daughter, Frankie, while we are there. The girls are about 2 months apart in age, so it’ll be super fun to watch them learn and grow together. Adam is especially excited about getting more face to face time with Jesse and having a training buddy so he doesn’t have quite so many solo workouts!

It looks smaller here…

My dad is going to be joining us for the trip from Denver to Tucson, with a detour to go see the Grand Canyon. Once we arrive in Tucson, Dad will be helping us get the hookups set up at Jesse’s house so we can have power, water, and sewer. Big thanks to both Dad and Jesse & Amy for hookups!

We’re super excited about all the adventures we’ll get to go on in our RV. I’ll make sure to keep everyone up to date with any improvements or renovations we do and we are always open to suggestions!
